Hi Bothwell Families! I hope you have had a great summer break! We will be holding the Terry Fox run at Bothwell School on Friday, September 23rd. All families/caregivers are invited to join us as participants or spectators on this year’s run! K-4 students will run in the school yard from 11:30AM – 12:05 PM, followed by the Gr. 5-8’s from 3:00 – 3:35 PM on the designated streets directly south of the school (with supervisors on the route). Throughout the event, each class will be participating in a challenge to run the most laps possible and reach the highest average of laps/student in their class with the highest average class winning an extra PE period with Mr. Fast. Please note that we will be running AFTER picture day photos are taken, so please have your child bring a change of clothes for running if needed. Please plan appropriate clothing/footwear for your child on this day, and feel free to send in a “Tooney for Terry”. Students who bring in a donation will have permission to wear a hat indoors for the day.
