Summer Fun Day & Picnic

SUMMER FUN DAY YEAR END PICNIC Our annual summer fun day will be on Thursday, June 29th.  The PAC and school are working together to put on this special event.  Students will participate in various events with their class.  Teachers will supervise their own classes.  Lunch At 11:45, classes will begin to make their way to the Picnic Shelter on the Rec. AWARDS CEREMONY Parents are invited to attend our Awards Ceremony Assembly on Wednesday, June 29th at 9:40 A.M We will be handing out a variety of awards to student recipients in grades 5-8. BOTHWELL’S GOT TALENT!

We are excited to invite you to our “Bothwell’s Got Talent” variety show. This student – led event will take place on Tuesday, June 27 at 10:30 a.m. Students are preparing songs, poems, skits, dance / gymnastic routines, and maybe a few surprise items!  Auditions will be held during the first couple of weeks in June, so please remind your child to practice and show their best effort. We’re looking forward to a fun-filled, talent-packed show!

Grade 5-7 World’s Finest Chocolates Fundraiser

Bothwell School Middle Years’ Chocolate Fundraiser Fundraising efforts help to lower the overall cost of planned activities for students and support is appreciated. Food Drive for Christmas Hampers

Starting on December 4, the Grade 7/8  Leadership Team is collecting donations for the Niverville Helping Hands Food Drive. Bothwell School students can bring non-perishable food items to school between December 4 – 15. HSD Volleyball

Bothwell students love volleyball! Team practice(s) are scheduled to begin during the first full week of school (Sept. 12-16). Sign ups for Gr. 7-8 boys and girls are on the PE bulletin board. The season is scheduled to start the week of October 3rd-7th with girls playing on Tuesdays after school and boys playing on Thursdays after school. Let’s go Badgers!

Numeracy Week May 9-13

Have Math in Your Path Throughout the week of May 9th, we will be doing math activities that will extend our learning with math in our path.  We will be searching for math treasures and reading math books.  We will be following a path to measure our school and engaging in a path to math poetry.  With a week of fun math events, we are sure to find math in our path.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found table will be set up in the front foyer March 24-25. Please ask your children to stop by and look for any items that may belong to them.  All unclaimed items will be packed up and will be donated to a local charity.

Progress Conversations March 17-24

We are looking forward to connecting with you virtually for Progress Conversation Meetings between parents/guardians and teachers which will take place between March 17 and 24th, prior to the sharing of the report card document on Parent Portal on Friday, March 25th.
