Did you know that household batteries are full of acids that can contaminate our soil and water supply?
Did you know that household batteries can be dropped off at participating recycling depots?
The grade 5/6 class will be coordinating a household battery collection program during the month of April. Any regular household batteries, including rechargeables, that are undented and not leaking powder are what we are looking for. Sorry, no car batteries are accepted
Please make arrangements to have you household batteries dropped off at Bothwell School during the month of April and we will get them sent off for proper disposal. There will also be a drop off box set up at New B’s. We are having a big drive to promote safe disposal on this during the month of April. Help us to be Manitoba’s best Eco Kids Battery Busters!
