We are recognizing Remembrance Day this year with a school assembly on November 9 at 11:00 am. I thank students who will be contributing to the presentation and parents/community are welcome to join ceremony.

On Tuesday, October 31st, students may dress up in friendly costumes during the morning. Participation is voluntary. The costumes cannot be violent or scary, and are to follow school dress code. The traditional costume parade will follow morning announcements. Students will need to bring along their regular clothes as they are going to be changing out of their costumes by lunch hour.

Strong Connections will be held on Friday, September 13th and Monday, September 16th. On these days, grade K-8 students attend school one day- either on Friday or on Monday. Students are divided up to allow each homeroom teacher the opportunity to meet one on one with each student. While students participate in some academic assessment activities, the utmost benefit of these days is the opportunity for teachers and students to begin to build a stronger relationship. Families who are moving during the summer break, please inform the Hanover School Division Transportation Department as soon as possible. This allows the Transportation Department to establish accurate bus routes in early August. The transportation office is open through the summer months. Call 320-2347 to update your information.
