Our school will be acknowledging the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, September 27 and encourage all students and staff to wear an orange shirt to school on September 27! The history of the orange shirt began back in 1973, when Phyllis Webstad entered St. Joseph Mission Residential School and was told she could not wear the new orange shirt her grandmother gave her. Bothwell School will be holding the annual Terry Fox Run on Thursday, October 3 (not Friday) @ 2:45PM (rain date: Monday, Oct. 7th). All families/caregivers are invited to join us as participants or spectators. Students will take part in the run on the designated streets directly south of the school (with supervisors on the route).
