Our annual summer fun day will be on Wednesday, June 25 for lunch and the afternoon. Please note that this year it is NOT on the last day of school. The PAC and school are working together to put on this special event. Students will participate in various events inside and outside at school. If it rains, plans will be adjusted and the lunch and Summer Fun Day activities will take place indoors.

This year, our lunch will take place on the school grounds. Students will be eating their lunches with their classes outside. Families are invited to join as well. It will be picnic style so please bring a picnic blanket and/or lawn chairs for lunch. Pre-ordered food will be an option for families to order ahead of time. Parent Advisory Council (PAC) has organized a Picnic lunch for our Summer Fun Day on the second last day of school (Wednesday, June 25).  *UPDATE: There has been a slight change of plans from when our June newsletter went out in regards to what is being provided for lunch: For ALL BOTHWELL SCHOOL STUDENTS, they would like to offer a free lunch that consists of:

– 1 Hot Dog                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 – 1 Bag of Chips                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        – 1Juice Box                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               – 1 Candy Bag

Students do NOT need to order.  An online order form was emailed  parents on Friday, June 13th. If you would like to order lunch for yourself, younger siblings or other family members, you can purchase the above lunch for $5.  Please fill in the form linked below and submit it and send payment (cash or cheque) to school by June 20 by 9:00 am.  Late orders will not be accepted.

Parents/families are also welcome to bring their own bagged lunches to the school at 12:00 and have lunch with their children until 12:50. Stations will be starting at 1:00.

Summer Fun Day Activities
The activities will begin around 1:00. We encourage you to stay for our Summer Fun Day. There will be fun for all, a bouncy slide, face painting, and relays. We are looking forward to a terrific afternoon on our school grounds. Please bring refillable water bottles for the afternoon as the majority of stations will be outside, weather permitting.

KINDERGARTEN PARENTS PLEASE NOTE:
On this day, Kindergarten will be in the afternoon only starting at 12:50. Please bring your child to the kindergarten class to meet Mrs. Lafrienere for the afternoon festivities at that time. Families are invited to join for the lunch portion as well, but please stay with your Kindergarten student until 12:50.
