We are holding a collection drive to promote safe disposal of batteries during the month of April.

  • Did you know that household batteries are toxic to our environment?
  • Did you know that household batteries are full of acids that can contaminate our soil and water supply?
  • Did you know that household batteries can be dropped off at participating depots or here at Bothwell School?

We will be collecting regular household batteries  and rechargeable batteries weighing less that 5 kg. These include batteries found in power tools, video game consoles, digital and video cameras, watches and hearing aids. Sorry, no car batteries please.

Please make arrangements to have your household batteries dropped off at Bothwell School during the month of April and we will get them sent off for proper disposal.  You can drop them off yourselves or send them to school with your child.  The collection box is in our front office.

Help us to help keep our environment clean!!
