Our annual summer fun day will be on Friday, June 19 for lunch and the afternoon. The PAC and school are working together to put on this special event. Students will participate in various events inside and outside at school. If it rains, plans will be adjusted and the lunch and Summer Fun Day activities will take place indoors.
Lunch
Our picnic lunch will take place on the school grounds. Students will be eating their lunches with their classes outside. Families are invited to join as well. It will be picnic style so please bring a picnic blanket and/or lawn chairs for lunch. Pre-ordered food will be an option for families to order ahead of time. PAC has organized a picnic meal of a hotdog, chips, a drink and candy and it MUST BE PRE-ORDERED with an online order form that will be shared with parents on Friday, June 5. Food orders and money are due by 9:00 am, Friday June 12th. One form per student. Parents are welcome to order additional meals for themselves and/or family – one form per person. Parents/families are also welcome to bring their own bagged lunches to the school at 12:00 and have lunch with their children until 12:50. Stations will be starting at 1:10.
Summer Fun Day Activities
The activities will begin around 1:10. We encourage you to stay for our Summer Fun Day. There will be fun for all, a bouncy slide, face painting, and relays. We are looking forward to a terrific afternoon on our school grounds. Please bring refillable water bottles for the afternoon as the majority of stations will be outside, weather permitting.
KINDERGARTEN PARENTS PLEASE NOTE:
On this day, Kindergarten will be in the afternoon only starting at 12:50. Please bring your child to the kindergarten class to meet Mrs. Lafrienere for the afternoon festivities at that time. Families are invited to join for the lunch portion as well, but please stay with your Kindergarten student until 12:50.
