Remembrance Day Assembly
We are recognizing Remembrance Day this year with a school assembly on November 9 at 11:00 am. I thank students who will be contributing to the presentation and parents/community are welcome to join ceremony.

Costume Parade
On Tuesday, October 31st, students may dress up in friendly costumes during the morning. Participation is voluntary. The costumes cannot be violent or scary, and are to follow school dress code. The traditional costume parade will follow morning announcements. Students will need to bring along their regular clothes as they are going to be changing out of their costumes by lunch hour.

PAC Annual General Meeting
The Bothwell School PAC Annual General Meeting will take place at the school on Wednesday, October 11 @ 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Mrs. Rekrut and the PAC invites all families to join the meeting!

Terry Fox Run Sept. 25 @ 2:45
Bring a Tooney for Terry! Hi Bothwell Families! I hope you have had a great summer break! We will be holding the Terry Fox run at Bothwell School on Monday, September 25th. All families/caregivers are invited to join us as participants or spectators on this year’s run! Kindergarteners will be running around the school yard around 9:45. ORANGE SHIRT DAY- SEPTEMBER 29
Our school will be acknowledging the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, September 29 and encourage all students and staff to wear an orange shirt to school on September 29! The history of the orange shirt began back in 1973, when Phyllis Webstad entered St. Joseph Mission Residential School and was told she could not wear the new orange shirt her grandmother gave her. Picture Day
Picture day is Friday, September 22nd. There will be no retake day at the school, but if parents wish to have retakes taken or if your child was not in school on picture day, please contact the school as soon as possible. Proofs will be sent home with every student within the 2 weeks following Picture Day. Parents/guardians may order using the paper order form that will be sent home with the proofs or on-line at mylifetouch.ca .

Moving over the summer?
Families who are moving during the summer break, please inform the Hanover School Division Transportation Department as soon as possible. This allows the Transportation Department to establish accurate bus routes in early August. The transportation office is open through the summer months. Call 320-2347 to update your information.

Lost & Found
The Lost and Found will be set up in the front foyer on June 28th and will be packed up on June 30th. After this date, any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.
