Numeracy Week April 29 – May 3

Numeracy Week activities include running daily math activities “Stop, Drop and Math”, the gr. 4/ 5 class will share math riddles each morning as part of morning announcements. And on the last day, May 3, there will be an afternoon of rotating stations where students will participate in various activities in multi-age groupings. The gr. 8 students will be making a video about “Math in our World” to kick off the week.

Earth Day April 18

Earth Day celebrations will be held on Thursday, April 18.  Students at Bothwell School will be participating in activities which include an assembly in the morning and community clean up in the afternoon. We are also gardening and collaborating to find ways to help our Earth. Please remember to wear green and bring a litter-less lunch.

Update-World Down Syndrome Day

March 21st was internationally recognized as World Down Syndrome Day and for that very day, we celebrated Rose! We had an assembly and boogied in the gym while listening to some of Rose’s favorite songs. PAC Cheese Fundraiser

BOTHWELL SCHOOL PAC WILL BE HOSTING THEIR ANNUAL BOTHWELL CHEESE FUNDRAISER March 22—April 8, 2019 Our PAC committee is excited to partner with Bothwell Cheese in offering their great selection of cheese at a great price. Every student who sells 20 items of cheese will receive a free Bothwell School 2018/19 yearbook. A table with lost and found items will be set up in the front foyer from Parent Teacher night to Friday (March 20 – 22). Please take the time to look through the items for those that may belong to your child. All remaining items will be brought to Self Help over spring break.
