Bothwell School Middle Years’ Chocolate Fundraiser
Fundraising efforts help to lower the overall cost of planned activities for students and support is appreciated. The last fundraising efforts covered ALL costs for the students to attend their ski trip!!
We are excited to share that the September Overnight Camp Trip will take place next fall for the Grade 6-8 students. Our school has traditionally planned this trip to take place every 3 years and we are happy to reintroduce this to our school planning! We are going to the Winkler Camp from September 13- September 15, 2023! If you are interested and able to participate in this fundraiser, please see the following information:
Who: Current Grade 5-7 Bothwell School students fundraising for their September 2023 Grade 6-8 Overnight Camp Trip
What: Chocolate Fundraiser! This year we are selling a World’s Finest Chocolates variety case with chocolate covered almonds, milk chocolate almond bars, wafer bars, caramel whirls and mint meltaways. There are 30 bars per case @ $3 per bar, so a case equals $90.This is a great fundraiser for us as we keep 45% of every sale.
When: Sales from April 6-18
Why: Profits from the fundraiser will collectively lessen the cost for the September 2023 Grade 6-8 Middle Years Camp that is scheduled for next year. Any fundraised money that is above the cost of these trips will be allocated to funds to support other school wide events.
Details: Due to health regulations in the fundraising industry, we are unable to return opened chocolate cases for refund.
Therefore we are trying to limit the amount of unsold individual bars being returned to the school. Please see below details for selling options:
1.Parent permission required (on permission slip sent home March 6) for your child to receive World’s Finest Chocolates to sell for fundraiser. 2.On April 6th, those students who returned the signed permission slip by March 16 will be allowed to take chocolates home to sell in April. 3.Sellers may a. receive 15 bars without pre-purchase to sell and $45 to be paid to school on or before April 18, 2023 b. request additional 15 bars without pre-purchase (once prior 15 bar sales received by school). c. pre-purchase half case for $45 (15 bars X $3) and sell on their own time frame d. pre-purchase whole cases for $90 (30 bars x $3) and sell on their own time frame 4. Additional half or full cases may be pre-purchased at any point during the fundraiser by calling the school and sending payment for chocolates to be sent home. 5. All money from sales or unsold bars to be returned to school by April 18, 2023.
Preferred method of payment is cheques made out to Bothwell School. Please do NOT pay for your chocolates on Parent Portal as fundraising events are not involved with students’ accounts.
