Our school will be acknowledging the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, September 27 and encourage all students and staff to wear an orange
shirt to school on September 27!
The history of the orange shirt began back in 1973, when Phyllis Webstad entered St. Joseph Mission Residential School and was told she could not wear the new orange shirt her grandmother gave her. This link has special information about Orange Shirt Day and a video:
