Bothwell School has registered to participate in the Call2Recycle Battery Blitz contest which will run from March 3 to April 11. We will be collecting rechargeable and single use dry cell batteries weighing less than 5 kg. These include C & D, AA & AAA, button and coin batteries, and 9-volt as well as those found in power tools, video game consoles, digital and video cameras, watches and hearing aids. Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year will open up in January 6, 2025. To be eligible, children must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2025. The registration process will take place online at www.HSD.ca . I LOVE TO READ February is I Love To Read Month. Students and staff will be sharing their love of reading throughout the month. We are excited to have Mix 96 and Corny Rempel coming to our school on February 4th for a special presentation at 11 a.m. We encourage all families to be intentional about reading at home this month and help students continue to develop a love for reading.
We are excited to welcome Fubuki Daiko as our guest Artist in the School from Feb. 10-14! This incredible group will bring the energy and rhythm of Japanese taiko drumming to our students, offering a unique opportunity to explore music, culture, and creativity.
