An Old Fashioned Christmas

Celebrate the season with An Old Fashioned Christmas, a festive concert that brings the warmth and joy of the holidays to life. Step into a world of holiday cheer as we revisit the classic traditions and timeless carols that make Christmas so special.   The concert will be held at the Bothwell Christian Fellowship Church, and the performance times are 10:30 am and 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 12.   See you then!

Costume Parade

On Thursday, October 31st, students may dress up in friendly costumes during the morning. Participation is voluntary. The costumes cannot be  violent or scary, and are to follow school dress code. The traditional costume parade will follow morning announcements. Students will need to bring along their regular clothes as they are going to be changing out of their costumes by lunch hour.

Niakwa Pizza Fundraiser – Gr. 5-8

Our Grade 5-8 students are running a Niakwa Pizza fundraiser from Oct 1-15.  All profits from the fundraiser will collectively lessen the cost for all students for the Grade 5-8 Ski Trip that is scheduled for February this year. Excess profits will be allocated to support other school wide events. The approximate cost per student is $35 Order forms were sent home on October 1 with grade 5-8 students. Orange Shirt Day Sept. 27

Our school will be acknowledging the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Friday, September 27 and encourage all students and staff to wear an orange shirt to school on September 27! The history of the orange shirt began back in 1973, when Phyllis Webstad entered St. Joseph Mission Residential School and was told she could not wear the new orange shirt her grandmother gave her. Terry Fox Run – Change of date

Bothwell School will be holding the annual Terry Fox Run on Thursday, October 3 (not Friday) @ 2:45PM (rain date: Monday, Oct. 7th).
