We are pleased to be holding the Gr. 1-8 Jump Rope for Heart fundraising event on March 22, 2024 in the afternoon. We will forgo individual fundraising & prizes this year, but will be collecting cash donations throughout the month. All money raised will support the Heart and Stroke foundation in their efforts to promote children’s health and fund vital heart and stroke research. Winter Fun Day is tomorrow. We hope it will be warm enough to go ahead with all planned activities. Please remember to dress accordingly. If the weather is below -25C, outdoor activities will be cancelled and we will have activities in the gym instead. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day!
February is I Love To Read Month. Students and staff will be sharing their love of reading throughout the month. We are excited to have Mix 96 and Corny Rempel coming to our school on February 12 for a special presentation. We encourage all families to be intentional about reading at home this month and help students continue to develop a love for reading.
We are excited to announce that our Winter Fun Day will be Friday, February 16th at the Bothwell Rec Centre grounds. K-Gr.4 activities will be held at the Rec Centre from 9:30-11:45 am and the Gr. 5-8 activities will be from 1:10-3:30 pm. Students will be outside for most of the activities so please have them dress accordingly. We welcome parents to come and join in this outdoor fun.
Bothwell PAC is happy to inform you that we are able to offer the babysitting course in February. The babysitting course is open to anyone 11 years old or older (or completed grade 5). It will be taught by certified Red Cross Instructor, Deidre Perron, at Bothwell School on Friday, February 23rd from 9:00-3:30.
